Vodafone Idea Ltd. posts Q1 net loss of Rs 7271.70 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 7271.70 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 7415.70 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 13.78 per cent at Rs 10,340.20 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 9,088.20 crore in the corresponding period last year. During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 11.63 per cent to Rs 6,172.60 crore from Rs 5,529.30 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 177.74 per cent at Rs 81.10 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 29.20 crore). Operating Profit surged by 17.18 per cent to Rs 4,170.30 crore as against Rs 3,558.90 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 2.99 per cent in June quarter. Interest grew by 13.00 per cent y-o-y to Rs 5,902.30 crore
