The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 26.36 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 3.57 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 638.38 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 62.64 per cent at Rs 334.48 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 205.66 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 48.65 per cent to Rs 282.21 crore from Rs 189.85 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 65.07 per cent at Rs 2.41 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 1.46 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 230.61 per cent to Rs 52.27 crore as against Rs 15.81 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 103.25 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 5.51 per cent y-o-y to Rs 4.80 crore, while Taxation increased by 552.66 per cent at Rs 13.51 crore (Mar'20 Rs 2.07 crore).
