The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 22.08 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2020 as compared to Rs 20.17 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 9.47 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 12.46 per cent at Rs 78.51 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 89.68 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During October-December quarter, operating expenses dropped by 60.68 per cent to Rs 10.79 crore from Rs 27.44 crore in year ago period. Operating Profit surged by 8.80 per cent to Rs 67.72 crore as against Rs 62.24 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 24.26 per cent in December quarter. Interest grew by 7.86 per cent y-o-y to Rs 37.58 crore, while Taxation increased by 14.72 per cent at Rs 7.09 crore (Dec'19 Rs 6.18 crore).
