P&G Hygiene&Health Q3 net profit up 7.94% at Rs 98.33 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 98.33 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 91.10 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 7.94 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 15.79 per cent at Rs 759.66 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 656.05 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 18.71 per cent to Rs 630.97 crore from Rs 531.52 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 1.58 per cent at Rs 14.75 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 14.52 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 3.34 per cent to Rs 128.69 crore as against Rs 124.53 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 10.75 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 21.40 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.95 crore, while Taxation decreased by 8.50 per cent at Rs 30.90 crore (Mar'20 Rs 33.77 crore).
