Minda Industries falls despite reporting above 10- fold jump in Q4 consolidated net profit

Minda Industries is currently trading at Rs. 609.65, down by 6.35 points or 1.03% from its previous closing of Rs. 616.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 622.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 626.00 and Rs. 602.00 respectively. So far 54720 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 628.50 on 11-Jun-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 264.67 on 30-Jun-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 628.50 and Rs. 568.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 16546.86 crore.

Minda Industries has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2021.

The company has reported many fold jumps in its net profit at Rs 56.29 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2.93 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 55.27% at Rs 1,310.27 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 843.84 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported above 10- fold jump in its net profit attributable to owners at Rs 140.32 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 13.10 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 48.65% at Rs 2247.17 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 1511.76 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company has reported rise of 33.43% in its net profit at Rs 118.98 crore as compared to Rs 89.17 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 4.62% at Rs 3755.26 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 3589.57 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported rise of 33.16% in its net profit attributable to owners at Rs 206.63 crore as compared to Rs 155.18 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 2.37% at Rs 6410.77 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 6262.52 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.s
