Lupin falls on reporting consolidated net loss of Rs 2098 crore in Q2

Lupin is currently trading at Rs. 883.10, down by 53.70 points or 5.73% from its previous closing of Rs. 936.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 900.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 929.40 and Rs. 880.65 respectively. So far 113428 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1267.50 on 02-Jun-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 856.00 on 10-Nov-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 945.35 and Rs. 880.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 40524.03 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.83%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 40.41% and 12.76% respectively.

Lupin has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2021.

The company has reported net loss at Rs 1329.12 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 360.43 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 4.01% at Rs 2944.85 crore for Q2FY22 as compared Rs 3067.89 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss attributed to the owners at Rs 2098.04 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 211.02 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 7.88% at Rs 4164.14 crore for Q2FY22 as compared Rs 3859.96 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
