L&T Infotech Q4 net profit up 12.14% at Rs 466.40 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 466.40 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 415.90 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 12.14 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 7.36 per cent at Rs 3,033.10 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2,825.10 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 3.41 per cent to Rs 2,368.20 crore from Rs 2,290.20 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 36.88 per cent at Rs 45.70 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 72.40 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 24.30 per cent to Rs 664.90 crore as against Rs 534.90 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 15.80 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 9.28 per cent y-o-y to Rs 17.60 crore, while Taxation increased by 37.10 per cent at Rs 156.70 crore (Mar'20 Rs 114.30 crore).
