Hero MotoCorp falls even after reporting 46% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

Hero MotoCorp is currently trading at Rs. 2847.60, down by 65.40 points or 2.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 2913.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2962.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2992.20 and Rs. 2820.50 respectively. So far 58792 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3628.55 on 18-Feb-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1955.40 on 08-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2992.20 and Rs. 2767.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 56696.63 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.76%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 55.87% and 9.37% respectively.

Hero MotoCorp has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2021.

The company has reported a rise of 39.35% in its net profit at Rs 864.97 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 620.71 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 36.92% at Rs 8,773.35 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 6,407.86 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 45.70% in its net profit attributed to the shareholders at Rs 880.94 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 604.63 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 34.93% at Rs 8,758.01 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 6,490.92 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company has reported a fall of 18.41% in its net profit at Rs 2,964.20 crore as compared to Rs 3,633.26 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 5.96% at Rs 31,380.47 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 29,614.43 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 19.80% in its net profit attributed to the shareholders at Rs 2,917.75 crore as compared to Rs 3,638.11 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 5.11% at Rs 31,517.09 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 29,985.88 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
