GTL Infrastructure posts Q1 net loss of Rs 279.59 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 279.59 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 217.12 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company declined by 0.38 per cent at Rs 360.24 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 361.62 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 17.31 per cent to Rs 324.20 crore from Rs 276.37 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 18.75 per cent at Rs 2.47 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 3.04 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 57.72 per cent to Rs 36.04 crore as against Rs 85.25 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 57.57 per cent in June quarter. Interest grew by 6.11 per cent y-o-y to Rs 190.27 crore
