GE Power India rises on associating with Apollo International for MB Power Madhya Pradesh

GE Power India is currently trading at Rs. 252.50, up by 2.70 points or 1.08% from its previous closing of Rs. 249.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 257.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 257.40 and Rs. 248.95 respectively. So far 3891 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 371.80 on 22-Jun-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 226.75 on 29-Nov-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 270.80 and Rs. 246.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1700.86 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 68.58%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.48% and 16.95% respectively.

GE Power India (GEPIL) is associating with Apollo International for MB Power Madhya Pradesh as the power producer. In this association, GE will design and supply the WFGD system for the 2X 600 MW Anuppur TPP located in Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh. This is GE’s first FGD order for an independent power producer in the country.

The project involves design, engineering and supply of key components for the WFGD system. Once completed, it will support the customer in cleaning 7.4 million cubic metre per hour of flue gas and removing 51,000 tons/year of SO2. The project is expected to be commissioned by 2024 and will help the end-user comply with emission norms for SO2 in thermal power plants.

GE Power India is engaged in the engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and servicing of power plants and power equipment.
