The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 341.10 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 443.70 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 23.12 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 2.09 per cent at Rs 3,479.60 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 3,408.20 crore in the corresponding period last year. During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 8.78 per cent to Rs 2,865.60 crore from Rs 2,634.20 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 0.32 per cent at Rs 63.00 crore versus (Dec'20 Rs 62.80 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 20.67 per cent to Rs 614.00 crore as against Rs 774.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 22.28 per cent in December quarter. Interest grew by 18.46 per cent y-o-y to Rs 7.70 crore, while Taxation decreased by 29.51 per cent at Rs 122.80 crore (Dec'20 Rs 174.20 crore).
