The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 89.08 crore compared to net loss of Rs 23.79 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 33.42 per cent at Rs 966.17 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 724.13 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 11.83 per cent to Rs 792.24 crore from Rs 708.45 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 145.82 per cent at Rs 6.17 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 2.51 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 1009.25 per cent to Rs 173.93 crore as against Rs 15.68 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 729.49 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 1.27 per cent y-o-y to Rs 7.75 crore, while Taxation increased by 424.63 per cent at Rs 30.97 crore (Mar'20 Rs -9.54 crore).
