Angel Broking Q4 net profit zooms 184.43% at Rs 99.72 cr
The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 99.72 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 35.06 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 184.43 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose triple digit by 113.93 per cent at Rs 404.37 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 189.02 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 89.40 per cent to Rs 260.94 crore from Rs 137.77 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 4.19 per cent at Rs 9.61 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 10.03 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 179.81 per cent to Rs 143.43 crore as against Rs 51.26 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 30.79 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 3.96 per cent y-o-y to Rs 10.77 crore, while Taxation increased by 249.95 per cent at Rs 38.81 crore (Mar'20 Rs 11.09 crore).
