The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 135.00 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 64.67 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 108.75 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose three fold by 3543.86 per cent at Rs 2,034.00 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 55.82 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 2683.14 per cent to Rs 1,988.00 crore from Rs 71.43 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 129.63 per cent at Rs 195.00 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 84.92 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 398.31 per cent to Rs 46.00 crore as against Rs -15.42 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 108.18 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 34.40 per cent y-o-y to Rs 74.00 crore, while Taxation increased by 135.26 per cent at Rs 18.00 crore (Mar'20 Rs -51.05 crore).
