* The BSE Sensex ended at 50,441.07 up by 35.75 points or 0.07% after trading in a range of 50,985.77 and 50,318.26. There were 14 stocks advancing and 16 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in green; the BSE Mid cap index up by 0.30%, and Small cap index was up by 0.63%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Energy was up by 0.80%, Utilities was up by 1.09%, Capital Goods was up by 1.76%, and Oil & Gas was up by 1.62%, while, Realty was down by 0.94%, FMCG was down by 0.38%, and Telecom was down by 0.35%, top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were L&T was up by 3.43%, ONGC was up by 2.96%, HCL Tech was up by 2.22%, NTPC was up by 1.66% and AXIS Bank was up by 1.60%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Bajaj Finance was down by 2.22%, Indusind Bank was down by 2.05%, UltraTech Cement was down by 1.81%, Bajaj Auto was down by 1.47%, and HDFC was down by 1.31%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 14,956.20 up by 18.10 points or 0.12% after trading in a range of 15,111.15 and 14,919.90. There were 27 stocks advancing and 23 stocks declining.
