* The BSE Sensex ended at 49,746.21 up by 84.45 points or 0.17% after trading in a range of 50,118.08 and 49,581.61. There were 15 stocks advancing and 15 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in green; the BSE Mid cap index up by 0.60%, and Small cap index was up by 0.73%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Telecom was up by 0.61%, Realty was up by 0.92%, FMCG was up by 0.47%, Capital Goods was up by 0.50%, and Oil & Gas was up by 0.28%, while, Utilities was down by 0.64%, and Energy was down by 0.24%, top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were TATA Steel was up by 4.90%, UltraTech Cement was up by 4.24%, Titan was up by 3.95%, Tech Mahindra was up by 2.52%, and Nestle India was up by 1.66%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Indusind Bank was down by 1.07%, ONGC was down by 1.05%, Sunpharma was doewn by 1.05%, Bajaj Auto was down by 1.01%, and HDFC Bank was down by 0.95%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 14,873.80 up by 54.75 points or 0.37% after trading in a range of 14,984.15 and 14,821.10. There were 31 stocks advancing and 18 stocks declining and 1 stock unchanged.
