Post Market Mirror - The BSE Sensex ended at 48,803.68 up by 259.62 points By Jainam Share Consultant
* The BSE Sensex ended at 48,803.68 up by 259.62 points or 0.53% after trading in a range of 48,887.85 and 48,010.55. There were 17 stocks advancing and 13 stocks declining on the index.
* The broader indices ended in red; the BSE Mid cap index down by 0.10%, and Small cap index was down by 0.03%.
* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Capital Goods was up by 0.02%, Oil & Gas was up by 0.85%, Utilities was up by 0.62%, Telecom was up by 0.84%, and Energy was up by 0.91%, while, FMCG was down by 0.18%, and Realty was down by 0.39%, top lossing indices were on BSE.
* There were TCS was up by 3.67%, ONGC was up by 2.89%, ICICI Bank was up by 2.69%, HDFC Bank was up by 2.13%, and Dr. Reddy was up by 1.29%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.
* There were Infosys was down by 2.65%, Indusind Bank was down by 2.54%, Maruti was down by 2.44%, Nestle India was down by 1.69%, and Bajaj Finance was down by 1.64%, the top losers were on the Sensex.
* The CNX Nifty ended at 14,581.45 up by 76.65 points or 0.53% after trading in a range of 14,597.55 and 14,353.20. There were 28 stocks advancing and 22 stocks declining.
