Brookfield India to Open IPO on 3rd February 2021 with net issue size of ₹3800 Cr. Retain investors to first understand the difference between an IPO and a REIT, When an investor invests in REIT it will be the same as buying a commercial property, by investing in a REIT investor get 3 different types of returns such as Interest income, Dividend Income and Market price appreciation.
Brookfield REIT owns an initial portfolio of 4 large campus format office parks which are located in Mumbai, Gurugram, Noida and Kolkata with an initial portfolio size of 14.0 Msf, comprising 10.3 Msf of completed area, 0.1 under development and 3.7 Msf of future development.
So retail investors can buy this REIT and hold it for long term such as they have invested in real estate property. Retail investors may get listing gains of 5%-12% on listing day
