Turmeric
Turmeric trading range for the day is 7314-7778.
Turmeric dropped as turmeric standing crop quality reported well as of now, weather is favourable in growing regions.
Currently, export demand reported lower due to increased shipping cost.
Turmeric all India production for 2022 is estimated at 4.89 lakh MT up by 9.64% from last year.
In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 7394.05 Rupees gained 69.05 Rupees.
Jeera
Jeera trading range for the day is 15460-16330.
Jeera ended with gains as domestic demand is now picking up also the export inquiries to support price.
There were reports cumin seed sowing picked up in Gujarat and Rajasthan.
The area under cumin in Gujarat is only 63,144 hectares as against 1.68 lakh hectares at the same time last year
In Unjha, a key spot market in Gujarat, jeera edged up by 184.6 Rupees to end at 16076.9 Rupees per 100 kg.
Dhaniya
Dhaniya trading range for the day is 8170-9010.
Dhaniya prices dropped as monsoon progress which can support Rabi season crops.
Pressure also seen amid decrease in export and domestic demand due to poor quality of coriander in the current year.
The crop of Russia-Ukraine is normal, whereas in Bulgaria, the crop of coriander has increased from last year and in Syria only 30% of the crop is there.
In Kota spot market in Rajasthan the prices dropped -195.45 Rupees to end at 8604.55 Rupees per 100 kg.
