While exclusively speaking to ANI on Samajwadi Party leader and Azam Khan’s son Abdullah Azam Khan’s ‘Anarkali’ remark, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from UP’s Rampur, Jaya Prada said, “Should I laugh at it or cry, I am not getting it. Like father, like son. I never expected this from Abdullah. He is an educated boy and I always thought that he’ll be different from Azam (Khan). And, I always saw him as my son Samrat. And, after this kind of remark, I want to ask that how are you looking at me. Do you look at the women in this society as your father sees? Can’t you ever look upon women in a good way? This country will give them answer after the elections, especially the women of this society.” Earlier, while addressing a public rally, Abdullah Azam Khan had said that we want both ‘Ali’ and ‘Bajrangbali’ but not ‘Anarkali’ (Ali bhi humare, bajrangbali bhi humare. Humein Ali bhi chahiye, bajrangbali bhi chahiye lekin Anarkali nahi chahiye).
