Shares of McNally Bharat Engineering suged nearly 5 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange after the company bagged Rs 415-crore solar power project order in Andhra Pradesh. "The company has received an order for design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, commissioning and operation and maintenance of 500 mw grid connected solar PV power project, including civil works in Andhra Pradesh, on EPC basis for Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Ltd for a value of Rs 415.29 crore," McNally Bharat Engineering said in a BSE filing.
Boosted by the development, shares of company gained as much as 4.87 per cent at Rs 55.95 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange. In a similar fashion, stocks of company rose 4.48 per cent to Rs 55.95 apiece on the National Stock Exchange. Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 29,432.56, down 10.07 points, or 0.03 per cent at 11:30 hours.
