Infosys extends loss nearly 2% on H1-B visa concerns
Shares of Infosys fell nearly 2 per cent in early trade on the Bombay Stock Exchange amid persistent concerns over H1-B visa after US temporarily suspended premium process to clear the backlog. Weighed down by the development, shares of company declined as much as 1.83 per cent to hit intra-day low of Rs 1015.00 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
In a similar fashion, stocks of company slipped 1.52 per cent to Rs 1,018.15 apiece on the National Stock Exchange. Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 29,035.54, down 12.65 points, or 0.04 per cent, at 10:08 hours.
