Shares of GMR Infrastructure climbed over 3 per cent on the Bombay stock Exchange after media report suggested that the company was in advanced talks with Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) to sell a stake of up to 49 per cent stake in Hyderabad International Airport. Cheering the news, shares of company gained as much as 3.05 per cent to hit intra-day high of Rs 18.55 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The stocks were currently trading at Rs 18.20 against previous close price of Rs 18.00. In a similar fashion, shares of the company were trading 1.11 per cent higher at Rs 18.20 apiece on the National Stock Exchange. Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 32,074.03, up 53.28 points, or 0.17 per cent, at 12:28 hours.
