The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 7.50 crore compared to net profit of Rs 40.89 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 29.46 per cent at Rs 154.49 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 219.00 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 10.93 per cent to Rs 146.70 crore from Rs 164.71 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 84.81 per cent at Rs 0.24 crore versus (Mar'17 Rs 1.58 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 85.63 per cent to Rs 7.80 crore as against Rs 54.29 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 79.63 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 6.89 per cent y-o-y to Rs 11.01 crore
